Yay, another new painting! A new medium for a new month, oil pastels and watercolors. (That, and the ever-present medium of sublimation…) I painted it during an episode of Iron Chef in which the secret ingredient was wreckfish, a very poetic fish so named because they live in shipwrecks. You can’t make this stuff up.
Anyway, so, resolutions:
- Virgo it up. I don’t believe in astrology, but I do like some of the traits I’m supposed to have: dependable, organized, grounded, productive…we’ll see!
- Sit outside more.
- Be less abstracted. My daydreaming has gotten away from me a little…
- Find a good summer job and get my class schedule settled. (More about that tomorrow.)
- Make some more art. Easy.
